Setting out to design the Bai Hao teapot it was my wish to produce it in a factory I have visited a couple of years ago, because I know that each single part of my design would be handmade by highly skilled glass blowers under good working conditions and who i personally was able to look over their shoulders with admiration for their skills and the quality they made. I know they would be able to create not only a valuable aesthetic and functional teapot, but each single product would reflect a trace of the carftsmen’s personality far beyond mass-market products.
